Jesus is the reason for the season, making this an ideal cover to give out at holiday events. The candy cane was created as a symbol of Jesus Christ, so it seemed appropriate to use it for this holiday Gospel cover. Originating at the Cologne Cathedral, the candy cane was bent to resemble a shepherd's hook. Later, a candy maker in Atlanta developed a process to mass produce them, adding the red stripes to signify the blood of Christ. A wonderfully fresh cover for sharing at this time of year.
Like all our Gospels of John, the booklet includes a plan of Salvation and a decision page. A QR code on the back provides a quick link to learn more about God.
